Police Day Celebration
The Serbian police celebrated their Day in memory of 1862, when the Serbian Gendarmerie played a crucial role in the conflicts at Čukur Fountain in Belgrade. The central ceremony was held at Makiš, attended by President Aleksandar Vučić and government officials.
The Serbian police celebrated their Day in memory of 1862, when the Serbian Gendarmerie, on Pentecost, played a crucial role in the conflicts at Čukur Fountain in Belgrade, as well as during the Turkish bombardment of Belgrade the following day.
The central ceremony on the occasion of the Day of the Ministry of Interior and Police Day was held at Makiš, attended by President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, Prime Minister Miloš Vučević, and ministers in the Government of Serbia.
During the ceremony, citizens had the opportunity to see a capability display of all police units, as well as part of the equipment and vehicles that police officers use in their daily work.
Zastava Tervo d.o.o. Kragujevac participated in the event with NTV vehicles that are in the possession of the Police Brigade.
