Final preparations are underway at the Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović military airport in Batajnica for the Serbian Armed Forces 'Granite 2023' capability display, to be held on April 22, 2023, with over 5,000 personnel and 2,300 assets participating.

Dress Rehearsal for GRANITE 2023 Capability Display

At the Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović military airport in Batajnica, final preparations are underway for the Serbian Armed Forces 'Granite 2023' capability display, which will be held on the occasion of Serbian Armed Forces Day on Saturday, April 22, 2023. More than 5,000 members of the Ministry of Defense and the Serbian Armed Forces, around 2,300 armaments and military equipment assets, and more than 60 aircraft are engaged in the capability display. Visitors will also be able to see the most modern armament and military equipment equipping Serbian Armed Forces units, as well as part of the developmental assets from domestic defense industry companies.

Granit 2

In the aerial segment of the program, among others, the following aircraft and helicopters will perform: MiG-29, Orao, Lasta, Mi-35, H-145M, and Mi-17. Also displayed will be the FK-3 and Pantsir anti-aircraft missile systems, the PASARS self-propelled anti-aircraft artillery-rocket system, the MRAP M20 prototype series, the Kornet anti-tank missile systems, Miloš, Lazar-3, and Hummer armored combat vehicles, the 155mm NORA self-propelled gun-howitzer, the Oganj self-propelled multiple rocket launcher, as well as NTV in the special forces version of the Police Brigade. Visitors will also have the opportunity to see a parade of special forces members equipped with the most modern armament and military equipment. The gates of the Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović military airport will be open to all citizens from 9 AM to 3 PM, with the most exciting part of the program beginning at 11 AM.
