Capabilities, Armament, and Military Equipment Display of Serbian Armed Forces Units
A display of armament, military equipment, and capabilities of Serbian Armed Forces units was held at the Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović military airport in Batajnica. Zastava TERVO participated with eight NTV terrain vehicles of its own production.
At the Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović military airport in Batajnica, a display of armament, military equipment, and capabilities of Serbian Armed Forces units was held. The event was attended by the President of the Republic of Serbia and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces Aleksandar Vučić, Minister of Defense Nebojša Stefanović, Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces General Milan Mojsilović, as well as guest Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, envoy of the King of Bahrain.
President Vučić and the guest from Bahrain were acquainted with the latest armament and military equipment developed by the Serbian defense industry, presented by Assistant Minister of Defense Dr. Nenad Miloradović.
Around 400 members of the Ministry of Defense and the Serbian Armed Forces were engaged in the tactical-technical assembly, along with representatives of companies from the Serbian defense industry group, with 12 aircraft and more than 20 combat vehicles and combat systems, armaments, and other equipment.
Zastava TERVO d.o.o. Kragujevac participated in the display with eight NTV terrain vehicles of its own production, manufactured in 2020-2021. During preparations and the dress rehearsal for the main event, Minister of Defense Nebojša Stefanović and Chief of General Staff Milan Mojsilović toured and visited the vehicles, with a brief vehicle presentation. Through discussion and vehicle presentation, comments were that such vehicles are greatly needed by Serbian Armed Forces units.
In addition to vehicles of its own production, three PASARS systems were exhibited — one integrated with the Igla/Strela missile system, a prototype of the modular Oganj system, as well as armament of the BVP M80A with a 30mm gun turret manufactured in Zastava TERVO facilities. At the event itself, special forces personnel in NTV, Lazar, and Miloš vehicles demonstrated area blocking and creating conditions for a coordinated attack and enemy neutralization.
